Owen Pallett

A classically trained violinist since the age of 15, Owen Pallett's music combines classical with indie. Aside from some work with Arcade Fire, Pallett's primary focus has been his solo work, where he went under the moniker Final Fantasy and released critical darlings like, er, He Poos Clouds in 2006. But now having scratched the pen name but kept the bow and fiddle, hot off an Oscar nomination, Pallett is getting the best reviews of his career with the new In Conflict. He should fill the void for those awaiting Sufjan Stevens to do something… well, anything.
