Neal Francis + Dos Santos

Local singer-songwriter Neal Francis wears his retro influences and personal tribulations on his sleeve, melding funky ’70-style piano-fueled arrangements with lyrics that confront a  recent breakup and his sobriety. Recorded in the same church that he found himself living in, Francis's recent album In Plain Sight is filled with jubilant melodies and harmonies, mixed by David Fridmann, the producer who has helped shape the psychedelic sounds of Tame Impala and the Flaming Lips. During this special hometown show, Francis is joined by versatile Latin rock outfit Dos Santos.
