MusicNOW: Vijay Iyer

Composer, pianist and MacArthur Fellow Vijay Iyer makes his MusicNOW debut at the Harris Theater, performing his piece "Time, Place, Action," which pays tribute to American poet Amiri Baraka with improvisational flourishes. He'll also be joined by trumpter Wadada Leo Smith for a performance of selections from the duo's 2016 album A Cosmic Rhythm with Each Stroke.
