Mud people at Lolla | Photos

It was hot and dry. And then, whoa, apocapalooza and they evacuated everyone from the Lollapalooza grounds due to incoming severe weather—a tornado warning. Then, it was very very not dry. The sky blackened, rain poured, lightning sizzled for half an hour. Then the sky cleared (more or less). Storm over, everyone filed back into Lolla. Results: Mud. And mud people. Slipping, sliding, wrestling and finger-painting, some fest-goers got really into the mud. We stood by, agape, and took photos.
