Part of an ever-expanding crop of musicians twisting folk and Americana into pleasant pop music, Mt. Joy are a quickly-rising band that's scrambling to the front of the pack. The L.A.-based group scored a number one hit with its single "Silver Lining," a soaring anthem that urges listeners to "drink you wine, smoke your weed" instead of using hard drugs. The group arrives in Chicago for a trio of drive-in shows behind its latest album, Rearrange Us, with support from Adam Melchor (Sept 24), Michigander (Sept 25) and Rookie (Sept 26).
