Drummer, composer and bandleader Makaya McCraven is joined by Scottie McNiece—the co-founder of local record label International Anthem—for a converation about Chicago's music scene and how local labels have shared its output with the world. Local musician and artist Damon Locks (another International Anthem artist) leads the discussion at the Chicago Humanities Festival event, which will conclude with a performance from McCraven and his band.
