Virginia singer-songwriter Lucy Dacus tackles a very specific type of nostalgia on her recent album, Home Video, reckoning with her Christian upbringing in the early-aughts. The autobiographical tracks grapple with the salvation that religion seemingly offered and the ways in which she began coming to terms with her bisexuality. Set to taut arrangements that don't get in the way of the vivid memories and tangible feelings conveyed through these songs, Dacus's latest is an uncompromising arguement for not letting others dictate your beliefs. Indie-rocker Indigo De Souza opens the show.
