After two back-to-back days of sunny skies, our luck ran out on Sunday when severe storms passed to the north of Grant Park early in the afternoon. The nearby weather forced an evacuation of the festival, sending attendees out into the streets for an hour before the gates reopened. Once Lollapalooza started up again, those who returned were treated to enthusiastic performances by Gogol Bordello, TV on the Radio and Strand of Oaks. Of course, it was only a matter of time before a second storm blew in and cut the festival short, but not before Florence + the Machine turned in a short but powerful closing set against a sky filled with lightning. Take a look at photos of the bands and crowds in attendance on Lollapalooza's final day.
