Laura Jane Grace

Before the pandemic hit, Laura Jane Grace was planning on making an album with her band Against Me!, but the weeks spent at home spurred her to work on a solo album instead. Recorded at Chicago's Electrical Audio with famed engineer Steve Albini, Stay Alive unpacks the fear, anger and anxiety that Grace feels, performed with an acoustic guitar and the occassional drum machine. Her latest songs will make their live debut as part of Audiotree's Staged streaming series, with Grace performing from the stage at Lincoln Hall.
