Long a fixture of the insular Washington indie rock scene, singer-songwriter and producer Karl Blau has worked with Pacific Northwest artists like the Microphones and Laura Veirs while maintaining a steady stream of solo releases. His latest album, sarcastically titled Introducing Karl Blau, is a soulful collection of Nashville hits (and underappreciated gems) from the '60s and '70s, including tunes by Link Wray and Waylon Jennings. Olympia, Washington indie pop outfit Lake as well as local acts Michael Albert and Boo Baby open the show.
