Bassist Junius Paul is best known for performing with Makaya McCraven and as part of the Art Ensemble of Chicago, but he's also an acomplished composer and bandleader. His debut album Ism included contributions from local jazz scene luminaries like McCraven and Tomeka Reid, exploring the intersection of free jazz and more structured instrumentals—all of which prominently featured Paul's versatile fretboard stylings. Joined by Corey Wilkes, Justin Dilliard and Vincent Davis, Paul will perform at Constellation—limited in-person seating is available, but the set will also be streamed online.
