Live performances from baroque folk singer-songwriter Joanna Newsom are a rare occurrence, which makes this quartet of intimate solo concerts (with just a harp and a piano onstage) an even more momentous occasion. Dubbed "The String/Keys Incident," the shows promise to delve into Newsom's catalog, from her 2015 release Divers to her 2004 debut The Milk-Eyed Mender. Come to hear Newsom's unmistakable vocal cadence ringing through one of Chicago's historic music venues and stick around to see if she debuts any new tunes (we're keeping our fingers crossed).
