If, for some reason, you missed Jawbreaker's unlikely reunion at Riot Fest in 2017, the pivotal punk trio is returning for another evening in Chicago. Melding the pop punk energy with the confessional lyricism that came to characterize the ‘90s emo movement, the group made four records together before calling it quits in 1996. According to frontman Blake Schwarzenbach, the group has been working on new music over the past year—maybe you'll hear some of it at this show, which ropes in local punk legends Naked Raygun and Smoking Popes as opening acts.
