I'm Every Woman: Divas Through the Decades with Akenya & Friends + Mermaid

Inclusive LGBTQ+ party Slo 'Mo celebrates its 10th anniversary with an evening of R&B, house, disco and pop anthems featuring female vocalists. Local singer-songwriter Akenya directs the show, bringing together an all-star lineup of Chicago musicians to cover everything from Chaka Khan to Mariah Carey. R&B duo Mermaid (made up of a couple who met while performing in the Chicago production of Hamilton) opens the first Millennium Park Summer Music Series concert of the season.
