Experimental Chicago cellist Alison Chesley (best known by her stagename Helen Money) has performed with acts like Bob Mould, Russian Circles and Broken Social Scene, but her work as a solo album is worth exploring, if only to hear the sounds she can achieve with her instrument of choice. On her recent album, Atomic, Chesley coaxes atmospheric melodies from her strings that can be tender one moment and dissolve into a cacophony of noise the next. Helen Money will perform one of the first shows at Constellation, where 50 audience members can attend the socially-distanced in-person concert. Alternatively, you can watch a livestream of the show from your home.
