Grapetooth + Dehd

When Twin Peaks guitarist Clay Frankel began drinking wine with his roommate Chris Bailoni, the pair ended up making some music together and Grapetooth was born. The duo’s self-titled debut channels the same scrappy energy of Frankel's main band, but places its rambunctious refrains atop woozy synths and resolute drum machine rhythms. It's music born out of friendship, drunken nights and the hungover aftermath. The pair will celebrate the release of its first album with a performance in the round at Thalia Hall, joined by local post-punk trio Dehd.
