Givers + Lower Dens

Though its debut album dabbled in zydeco-inspired instrumentation, the synth-heavy indie pop of Giver's 2015 release New Release is a more straight-forward affair. Thankfully, it doesn't lose any of the buoyancy or enthusiasm that defines the Lafayette group's catchy tunes. Support comes from Lower Dens, who specialize in glam-influenced pop, akin to the music of fellow Baltimore band Beach House. This free concert is part of the 2016 Millennium Park Summer Music Series.
