George Clinton (a.k.a. the Godfather of Funk) recently threatened to retire from touring with Parliament Funkadelic entirely, but he simply can't resist the groove. The 80-year-old frontman recently announced his "un-retirement" to Rolling Stone, stating "You’re gonna have to drag me off." There's no better time to catch the modern incarnation of P-Funk, which incorporates hip-hop arrangements and dancing contortionists alongside renditions of classic tracks like "One Nation Under a Groove" and "Give Up the Funk." During the band's headlining sets at the Out of Space festival, Chicago jazz fusion ensemble Liquid Soul supports.
