Foxy Shazam

Bonkers glam rocker Foxy Shazam surprise-dropped its fifth album Gonzo online and it comes covered in cartoon scrotums. The Cincinatti act recorded its latest in Chicago with Steve Albini, who did his big echoing drum thing and encouraged the liberal use of horns. The tunes, a mix of Urge Overkill, Queen, Chicago and Frank Zappa, are best experienced at the wild live shows.
