Downtown Sound: Robbie Fulks

Robbie Fulks is a roots singer who has spent much of his career recording obscure country (and not-so-obscure pop) covers. He has an ear for traditionalism but is at times unexpectedly funny—see "I'm Gonna Take You Home (and Make You Like Me)." The local standby hit the Loop as part of the city's Downtown Sound summer series.
