Combo Chimbita + Valebol

On its recent record, Ahomale, New York-by-way-of-Columbia quartet Combo Chimbita attempt to channel its ancestors' spirits by infusing cumbia, salsa and other Afro-Latinx rhythms with punk-rock vigor and trippy production. Celebrating Goose Island's 312 Day, the group takes over the Hideout with support from local duo Valebol, featuring Vivan McConnell of V.V. Lightbody and Daniel Villarreal of Dos Santos.
