West Loop nightclub the Mid will officially close next week, but the venue's final weekend will be one to remember. Dirtybird label owner, producer and DJ Claude VonStroke headlines two shows on Friday and Saturday, beginning with a headlining set accompanied by DJ Deeon and Alex Peace on Friday, February 1. The club will reopen at 7am on Saturday, Feburary 2, kicking off a 22-hour party featuring Mid mainstays like Dani Deahl, Gordo and Ron Carroll, culminating with a late-night set from VonStroke. Rest up and prepare to send off another Chicago nightlife institution to the pulse of dirty electro beats.
