Childish Gambino

Community star Donald Glover (a.k.a. Childish Gambino) might ape the cadences and intonations of Kanye and Drake, but his writing is clever and embarrassingly confessional. And, hey, it sells out theaters. His latest album, Because the Internet, sounds like comedy album by title, and cuts like "Sweatpants" approach rap like a stand-up would, but there are moody electronic detours as the grass gets deeper on the back nine.
