The Chicago Philharmonic concludes its love-themed 2016/17 season with a final volley of romantic compositions from Antonin Dvorak and Franz Waxman. Conductor Gerhardt Zimmermann will also present his own transcription of Dmitri Shostakovich’s String Quartet No. 7, which explores themes of love and loss.
