Caribou + Jessy Lanza

Canadian producer Dan Snaith has always been interested in the intersection between electronic music and rock, finding ways to bring his synth-dappled tracks to life onstage with the help of other performers—and then taking that energy back into the studio. Returning to his Caribou moniker after releasing a record of purely electronic music under the name Daphni in 2017, Snaith's new album, Suddenly, ruminates on the monumental, unexpected changes that take place throughout life, filtered throughout tracks that combine chopped up samples with yearning vocals.
