Boy bands went out of style in the U.S. years ago, but they're still a huge part of Korean pop music—and BTS might be the biggest K-pop act of all time. A genuine international sensation, the seven young men from South Korea have topped the Billboard charts, performed on Saturday Night Live (the first Korean act to do so) and embarked on world tours that have taken them to every corner of the globe. The music of BTS doesn't stray far from the contemporary pop melting pot of hip-hop, EDM and R&B influences, though the group's willingness to address depression and LGBTQ rights (taboo topics in South Korea) in their lyrics separate them from their peers. After headlining two sold-out nights at Soldier Field in 2019, the group's Map of the Soul Tour brings it back to Chicago's biggest stadium for two more performances that are sure to be jam-packed with screaming fans.
Tickets go on sale via the Ticketmaster Verified Fan platform on Thursday, February 6 at 3pm.
