Black Prairie

A side project of Decemberists Chris Funk and Nate Query, sadly not dubbed Funky Query, Black Prairie has evolved their songwriting and cohesivness and have now transformed into a fully fleshed-out bluegrass act. Their latest album, Fortune, made a soft left turn from bluegrass hoe-down, more like a great folk album. Fans of the main act will want to investigate.
