North Carolina's Between the Buried and Me have never seemed comfortable presenting themselves as a staight-ahead metal act, with elements of jazz, prog-rock and circus music cropping up throughout their discography. The group's latest release, Colors II, serves as a sequel to the 2007 album Colors, finding the band searching for new directions to take its music amidst a highly-technical barrage of rhythms and riffs. During this special "evening with..." performance, Between the Buried and Me will turn in two sets: a career-spanning setlist followed by a performance of its 2009 album The Great Misdirect in its entirety.
