Chicago Maritime Museum

The Chicago Maritime Society, whose goal is to research, educate and celebrate Chicago's maritime heritage, opened a permanent venue in 2016 at the Bridgeport Arts Center, on the shore of Bubbly Creek. See items from the society’s collection and get a feel for how the city’s history and growth is intertwined with its relationship to the Great Lakes and rivers.
