Withnail & I screening with Richard E. Grant

A cult classic in Britain but little known in the States beyond core fans, pitch-black buddy comedy Withnail & I launched the career of character actor Richard E. Grant (Logan, Girls, Bram Stoker’s Dracula), who played booze-soaked actor Withnail. The movie turns 30 this month, and as Grant is in Chicago playing Professor Henry Higgins in the Lyric Opera’s My Fair Lady, he’ll appear in person at a 30th-anniversary screening at the Music Box.
