WBEZ contributors Monica Eng and Louisa Chu, a duo who host the Chewing The Fat podcast, interview James Beard award-winning chef Mindy Segal, who founded Bucktown's beloved Hot Chocolate Restaurant and Dessert Bar. (And, lest we forget, earned Best Pastry Chef twice consecutively at Time Out’s Eat Out Awards.) Segal, who can be expected to talk some seriously sweet shop, releases her first cookbook, Cookie Love, on April 7.
