Screening of 12 Years a Slave

There are movies about the evils of America's slave trade, and then there's Steve McQueen's searing adaptation of Solomon Northup's memoir, which looks at this historical stain on our nation like few films ever have. The DuSable Museum of African American History is screening this essential, educational and perceptive film. An adult must accompany children under 17.
