A Day in Avondale

It seems like most people only travel to Avondale to chow down on a burger at Kuma's Corner or wait in the gigantic lines during the final days of Hot Doug's. Entering its third year, A Day in Avondale is a community festival that seeks to introduce visitors to the diverse neighborhood just north of Logan Square. Attendees can take a look at art on display at Dante's Pizzeria, participate in a Mexican loteria at Tacos Tequilas and take part in many other fun activities.
