The Operature

This interactive performance piece by the ATOM-r collective (founded by former Goat Islanders Mark Jeffery and Judd Morrissey) draws inspiration from the histories of anatomical science and forensics. Attendees are encouraged to use the augmented-reality smartphone app Layar to access additional content by scanning the performance space and markings on the bodies of the performers themselves. Arrive early to take in an interactive exhibit from 6–8pm before the performance begins.
