Just in time for the release of Netflix's reboot of Wet Hot American Summer, the Chicago Parks Foundation has announced a 21 and over camp-in at Northerly Island later this month. The night will include a happy hour from Revolution Brewery, a pig roast from Chop Shop, a comedy show from Laugh Factory, an archery class, a midnight movie and a slew of other camp activities.
The camp isn't cheap. It costs $250 for a two-person tent or $750 for the largest six-person enclosure. That's a lot of cash to fork out to sleep on the ground, but the event is an exclusive chance for Chicagoans to camp out along Lake Michigan with a close-up view of the city's skyline.
Who knows what kind of crazy memories the campers will make? Maybe there will be a hot secret relationship between a camper and a counselor. Or heck, perhaps a hermit rock legend will perform a song to save friendship (see below).
You can find more information on the camp-in at the Chicago Parks Foundation website, and purchase tickets at Eventbrite.
