Each year, the streets of Wicker Park fill up with vendors, stages and crowds clutching beer in plastic cups. The annual Wicker Park Fest serves as a relaxed comedown from the Pitchfork Music Festival the previous weekend, attracting a similar crowd of hipsters and neighborhood residents with a music lineup that boasts a selection of notable indie acts and local bands. This morning, the street festival released its full live music schedule, booked by area music venue Subterranean. Previously announced headliners like Charles Bradley, Blonde Redhead and Veruca Salt will be joined by Michigan psych outfit Heaters, one-man garage band White Fence and the buoyant guitar lines of Delicate Steve.
Take a look at the full lineup below, cross your fingers for a sunny July and start looking forward to some fun on Milwaukee Avenue.
