Great Scott! In Back to the Future Part II, Marty McFly and Doc Brown arrive to the future on Wednesday October 21, 2015. That precise date has finally arrived, and Chicago is celebrating tomorrow with Back to the Future-themed parties and tons of screenings of the trilogy around town. Make sure to get your caffeine fix at The Wormhole and hang with their DeLorean, or enjoy a Pipeworks’ themed brew debuting at Emporium Arcade Bar at 7pm. From 4:29pm on, there are screenings of the trilogy across Chicago, so start calibrating your flux capacitor and dust off your hoverboard.
Back to the Future IV: The Fundraiser
Get dressed up in your finest '80s digs at a BTTF bash while raising funds for a good cause. The Radler throws a retro dance and costume party with benefits going to comic book and literacy non-profit Reading with Pictures. A ticket gets you a sausage and pretzel (it’s the Radler after all), two drinks and raffle prizes from local businesses like The Wormhole and Neo-Futurists (both very BTTF appropriate). Celebrate at a retro prom party, fittingly thrown by Headquarters Beercade, complete with an Enchantment Under the Sea theme.
