Nothing puts you in the holiday spirit quite like walking throughout a winter landscape covered in tiny, glimmering lights. ZooLights brings the magic of luminescence to Lincoln Park Zoo each December, covering the facilities with strings of glowing bulbs. This year's display is the largest to date, with more than 2 million lights blanketing trees, fences and buildings (alongside traditional attractions like ice carving and hot cocoa).
We stopped by ZooLights over the weekend to experience one of our favorite Chicago holiday traditions. Take a look at our photos below and make plans to check out the twinkling display for yourself—you've got until January 1!
