Summer music festival season isn't quite over yet, but we're already looking ahead to the bands we'll see in 2017. This morning, the annual Tomorrow Never Knows festival announced that it will return on January 11–15, 2017 and revealed a flashy new logo. The multi-venue music and comedy festival is one of the largest events during Chicago's relatively quiet winter season, presenting concerts at Schubas, Lincoln Hall, Hideout, Metro and Smartbar.
In 2016, Tomorrow Never Knows welcomed acts like Bully, Torres, The Go! Team and Lady Lamb as well as comedians such as Nick Thune and Bobcat Goldthwait—if you're willing to bet that the 2017 lineup will be just as strong, you can put your money where your mouth is and buy a five day pass for the festival on Friday. The $75 pass will get you access to all Tomorrow Never Knows concerts and stand up shows, but you won't find out who is playing the festival until later this year. The initial lineup for the 2016 edition of the festival was revealed in October last year, so expect similar timing this time around.
