1.  Get satiated at Sauced

The roving monthly pop-up market departs from its six-month run in Logan Square and resurfaces at Thalia Hall tonight with its biggest night market yet, having more than 30 vendors. Sample sushi, lobster, dumplings and cheesesteaks paired with a cold one from Moody Tongue or Marz Community Brewing and check out the handmade, local goods. (Thalia Hall, 1807 S Allport St, 6-11pm. Free)

2. See an indie rock legend fly solo

Add some rock to your week and see a different side of an indie rock hero at this show for ages 21 and over. Discover a more mellow sound from Superchunk and Portastatic’s Mac McCaughan as he tours with his first solo album, Non-Believers. The Merge Records cofounder (Arcade Fire, She & Him, Spoon) takes the Schubas stage tonight. Brokeback opens the show. (Schubas, 3159 N Southport Ave, 9pm. $15-$18)

3. Restock your stacks

Leave your tablets, e-readers and i-whatevers at home for the night and head to Chicago’s most popular used book fair to relive the sweet feel of a page between your fingers. Hawking more than 200,000 used books from every genre, the annual Newberry Library Book Fair is a great place to find old favorites or discover a new read. Most books are priced at only a couple bucks a pop, so load up! The four-day fest kicks off today and runs through Sunday. (Newberry Library, 60 W Walton St, noon-8pm, Free)
