The Pixies are playing a surprise show at Metro tonight

Act quick Surfer Rosa devotees! The Pixies have just announced a surprise performance that will take place this evening at Metro. Even if you're not a fan of Indie Cindy or the group's rotating cast of bassists, you can look forward to a set that will draw from the band's entire catalog. The Pixies were formerly scheduled to open for Robert Plant at Northerly Island tonight, but that show has been postponed to September 23 due to illness. Tickets are $25, doors open at 8:30pm and the show begins at 10pm.
