Chicago-based archival record label the Numero Group has been uncovering forgotten tracks and albums for more than a decade. Now, the label is opening its very own record store, based out of its headquarters in Little Village. Located at 2533 S Troy Street, the Numero Factory Outlet will be open on Fridays from noon to 8pm, beginning this afternoon.

Visitors to the store will find the complete catalog of Numero Group records, cassettes and CDs for sale, including some items that were formerly only available through the label's online store. According to the Reader, the store will also stock a few exclusive records and mixtape cassettes, while employees will provide the shop's soundtrack, including test pressings of not-yet-released Numero Group albums.

Though the store's hours will be limited for now (the staff needs to concentrate on dusting off neglected master tapes), Numero plans on hosting in-store performances and parties in the space in the future. If you visit, make sure to ask for a nearby taco recommendation when you check out and be careful not to get any salsa on your newly-purchased LPs.
