Navy Pier's signature Ferris wheel has been spinning since 1995, but the attraction will make its last rotation on September 27. The popular ride is being shut down to make way for a bigger and better Ferris wheel, featuring climate controlled gondolas and stretching 200 feet into the sky. The new Ferris wheel will arrive next year, just in time for the celebration of Navy Pier's 100th anniversary—you might even be able to drink a beer while waiting in line.

To commemorate the occasion, Giordano's Navy Pier location will be offering a very cheesy tribute to the soon-to-be-defunct attraction. Between September 25–27, guests will be able to order the "Wheel Miss You" pizza, a large, deep-dish stuffed pizza topped with parmesan cheese that kind of resembles the Ferris wheel (if you use your imagination).

Want to take one of the final rides on the grand ol' wheel? Navy Pier will be offering free rides beginning at 10pm on September 26 and running overnight until 9:45am on September 27.
