TripAdvisor seems to love Chicago. After ranking the Art Institute as the best museum in the world last fall, the site has named the Langham the top hotel in the country.

The hotel announced today that it has been recognized by the 2015 TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice awards as the overall winner in the category of "Top Hotels in the U.S."

With views of the Chicago River and Lake Michigan, a top-notch restaurant, a massive ballroom and 316 spacious rooms and suites, it's not surprising that The Langham received the honor.

The Langham opened in summer 2013, occupying the first 13 floors of the IBM Building. It is the world's only hotel in a Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe–designed building.

Interested in staying in the best hotel in the country? Rooms cost upwards of $400 per night and suites start at more than $1,000 per night.
