On Sunday, hundreds of runners gathered in Grant Park with the shared goal of being doused in colorful powder for the annual Chicago Color Run. Billed as "the happiest 5K on the planet," the event is inspired by the Hindu festival of Holi. As runners made their way through the 5K, they were pelted with colored corn starch powder in every hue imaginable. That explains the very colorful clientele you may have seen riding the CTA yesterday. Take a look at photos from this year's edition of the Chicago Color Run.
