Thomas and Paul Thomas are not actually related, but the two performed hilarious comedy as The Defiant Thomas Brothers until disbanding in 2006. Even though Chicago’s craft brewing scene continues to boom and fall is packed with beer fests, there’s still a place for winos and oenophiles (wine lovers, of course) to celebrate their drink of choice. The complete free World Music Festival begins its 12-day run this weekend, giving Chicagoans the chance to hear a little of everything the world has to offer. Friday, North Indian brass band Red Baraat performs at Lincoln Hall, then catch Brazilian percussionist Cyro Baptista Saturday and desert rock band Terakaft this Sunday.
