International electronic music publication Resident Advisor is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2016 with a year's worth of parties at some of the world's best dance clubs. In March, Resident Advisor will curate a weekly party at Chicago's very own Smart Bar, the only venue in the U.S. that's being included in this project. We've long regarded Smart Bar as one of the best dance clubs in Chicago, but this selection seems to solidify the Wrigleyville venue as one of the best clubs in the country.
The "In Residence" series will take over Saturday nights at Smart Bar in March, welcoming international talent such as Tokyo techno specialist DJ Nobu, German electronic elder statesman Roman Flügel and UK disco and house selector DJ Harvey. Each show will also feature local Chicago talent, including Smart Bar residents Jeff Derringer, Olin, The Black Madonna and Michael Serafini. Winter is drawing to a close and spring is almost here—what better way to greet warmer weather than with a night of dancing?
