Go get your dumplings this week. Qing Xiang Yuan Dumplings, the popular dumpling spot in Chinatown that started as a walk-up stand in the basement of the Richland Center and recently moved to a new full-service location, will close on Thursday for renovations for a month and a half.
The note on the door cites its recent success as the reason for the renovations. So from now until Wednesday, be sure to stop by to grab those delicious dumplings (I mean, really, how great are all of those pork dumplings? We can't stop eating them). And don't forget, you can grab select dumplings frozen from Qing Xiang Yuan two orders at a time—we won't lie, we definitely picked some up to tide us over.

Announcement on Business Suspension of Qing Xiang Yuan
Dear Customers
Thanks for your support as always! If it weren't for you, we can never achieve what we have obtained in "Qing Xiang Yuan" today; without you, we can never see our stories posted in newspaper; let alone the 4.5 star high praise of our restaurant in Yelp. It is no exaggeration to say that you are the ones on whom our livelihood depends.
Since Dec. 2015, we have been adhering to our ideas for running the restaurant which are to provide customers with the most delicious food and most comfortable dining experience. However, you have encountered with some unpleasant situations in our restaurant because we are short-handed and in lack of hardware. For this reason, "Qing Xiang Yuan" decides to enter into upgrading and rebuilding as of Sept. 15, 2016, which means we will suspend business for one and a half month. And after the suspension of business, you will enjoy a wider range of dining services and more comfortable dining environment. We are sorry about any inconvenience caused to you during upgrading and rebuilding. Thanks for your understanding! Like the ever-green mountain and forever-running water, the connection between us will never cease to exist, let's look forward to our reunion in Nov.
Qing Xiang Yuan
