Pivot Arts Festival announces fourth annual slate

The 10-day Pivot Arts Festival will return to Uptown and Edgewater this spring with theater, dance, children's performances, wine tastings and more.

The festival will kick off on June 2 and run through the 12th, with performances from the Hypocrites, Neo-Futurists, Lizi Breit and Dan Kerr-Hobert, Peter Carpenter, Chicago Folklore Ensemble (pictured), Eric Hoff and Jesse Morgan Young, Kristina Isabelle Dance, the Ruffians, South Side Sailor Scouts and Juan Villa. Children's performances include Alternatives/Uplift, CircEsteem, Merry Music Makers, Swift School and Storytown Improv.

A complete lineup and schedule will be available soon. Tickets go on sale April 27 and start at $25. Venues and locations include Lickity Split Custard and Sweet Shop, Loyola University's Mundelein Center for the Arts, the Preston Bradley Center and Uptown Underground.
