Superheroes, caped crusaders and masked vigilantes were out in force in the South Loop this weekend, as C2E2 invaded McCormick Place once again, bring comic book fans and pop culture aficionados to the convention floor. Attendance on Saturday was bolstered by participants in the nearby March for Science, which introduced clever protest signs to the gathering of cosplayers and superhero fans. We waded through the crowds at C2E2 and brought back photos of some of our favorite costumed attendees at the annual convention.
